Protein pancakes is one of my breakfast staples. Not only are they super easy to make, but also incredibly versatile in terms of what you can add to them; whether savory or sweet! The pancakes in this picture are my PB&J pancakes!
4 TBSP egg whites (or 1 egg white)
1 scoop of preferred protein powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 TBSP powdered peanut butter (optional)
Mix all ingredients together until well combined. Cook pancakes. Ta-daa!
These pancakes are so customizable! Once you have the base recipe of protein and egg whites, you can change it up however you like. Occasionally I add half of a mashed banana, or I might add some cacao powder.
Top your pancakes with fresh fruit, warm peanut butter, light whipped cream, or calorie free pancake syrup.
